Fishing report
We experience since several weeks very good fishing as well for Giant tarpon and Rainbow bass...it is going to be the same for coming months...Meanwhile only some abitual guest who know...and I have a lot of room to acomódate groups...it is the same every year in this Low season...Fishing is great but very few Guests...till December.. Please be in touch we can organise any short notice trip during these month...Captain Guides are waiting..
NEW SALT & FRESH PACKAGES
Since 5 years we go for giant Tarpon on San Juan River. One year ago I decided to start to organize Mix Tropical fishing trip : "Salt and Fresh " all include Package for limited groups of Anglers ...
Idea came after the visit of Chris Woodward ( Editor of SPORTFISHING MAGAZINE) who experienced with us this style of trip ( Some articles have been printed in the MAGAZINE ) and from requests of several Guest who appreciate our service.,. We did it and enjoy these trips as much as they did... made of Top Fishing but also Adventures. Fun and Discovery....
These trips are on a week 6/7 nights minimum.
Angler will experience :
* Tarpon and Snook fishing on Jungle River : Rio San Juan where my lodge is located
* Rainbow Bass fishing in Solentiname also Wapote and Mojara
* Machaca fishing on Rio Frio
* Offshore or Close to shore fishing from Quepos ( Marlin, Sailfish, etc... ), San Juan del Sur, Mal Pais where
The Offshore fishing part of this trip is available:
All year round from Quepos or Golfito Costa Rica (In Quepos I work with Steve a real great Guide/Captain)
From June till September from San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua with Gabriel. ( Avoid other months due to wind }
All year round from Mal Pais in Costa rica.(This other option offer close to shore fishing from Mal pais a very nice place, a little paradise to enjoy we discovered in Costa Rica , offering the comfort of a very nice front sea tropical beach hotel, plus fun , a lot of activities around... and very good fishing. We go on smaller boats and fish on light tackles for: Tuna (Negro and Yellow fin ), Jurel, Jacks, Baracuda, Wahoo......
* These "Salt and Fresh " Trips are all include from international airport of Managua Nicaragua or San Jose Costa Rica where we wait for our guests on arrival , as usual in my trips, these packages include all meals, all transfer, Fishing , lodging... etc etc..
I already organized some of these Expedition this year they have been very successful it is also a way to discover a lot...see the country, meet people ...I have several reservations for beginning of next year but a lot of room to accomodate aditional party. It can be from 2 to 10 anglers.
