We left San Jose at 6 pm in my car had typical breakfast on the road , Boat with Augusto was ready waiting for us in Los Chiles Fishing did start at 10.30 from Los chiles , we only did fish in Rio Frio ( Costa Rica )

We did stop fishing on day 2 around 3.30 pm in order to be back in San Jose at 8 pm...

I report 8 tarpons hit , 3 on line , 1 small 35lb to the boat also a 15lb Snook and Machaca , only missing Gar …

The level of the river is actually very low, It’s amazing to see how many Caiman and turtles are living in our rivers , we can see them now and for example in Playuelas early morning there were around 80 of them present , from 40cm long till 2 meters and more... We made a lot of good photos some can be seem on our Photo Album site, also some pictures of HALDVAN...

We had a very good time and HALDVAN told me ( as it is usual now with my guests ) than if some people want some information concerning my fishing Expeditions and the quality of our service he will be glad to talk with them...

We will be very busy in the coming weeks as we are receiving two groups of Anglers coming from France and USA... As usual I will publish fishing reports...

If someone wish to reach me during these two coming weeks you can send me an e mail but I will see it only when I am back...No computers in our Jungle…, or try to contact me at my cellular phone 506 395 50 53 leave a message there , To talk to me live try the same number at night between 7 and 9 pm.. Other option is my new beeper system in English at 506 296 54 54 leave message for code: SABALO.

I will have disponibility again for fishing Expeditions after the 21st of March...

STATISTICS

I took advantage of this free Sunday and I did establish my fishing statistics based on 207 hours of Fishing ( Equivalent to 20 Fishing days )

RESULTS ARE:

1 Tarpon jump every 46 minutes.

1 tarpon on line every 2.36 hours

1 tarpon released every 3.40 hours

I do not know if these numbers are good or not? Hope comments from readers.

At least it give me a reference point
