Fishing REPORT #30 February 2002
I went fishing with my guides Eliesse, Augusto and Juan on San Juan River on the 19th , 20, 21st of February .
An unusual and very relax trip for us where we all did play with Tarpon...In all our other trip we do not take the rods...they are for the Guests...so for us .it as been very Funny to see Augusto having a big tarpon around 150lb in 10 minutes to the boat...., the poor fish certainly still wonder what did happen... ( Augusto was on 30lb )
I did organised this short trip as we where invited by Mr Dionisos Chamorro and Carlos Coronel owner of Hacienda San Pancho. We wanted to know each others , we share the same passion : Tarpon Fishing in the area.
We really did enjoy the Hospitality and Confort of the Hacienda located on the banks of San Juan River . Even if we only did fish a few we had Tarpon, Snook and a lot of Fun specifically ( and again ) in the rapids located close to Saballo.( 45 mn from the Hacienda ) .
