Notes upon Kayaking

in Rio San Juan

1) For these Kayak  Adventures on  Rio San Juan we use Fast, Stable Touring type  Kayaks Double, 21 feet long

Single 16 feet available.

2) Level of difficulty, Our Kayak are fast and very Stable,

We always go Down river with the curent.

Rapids are short and soft There is no Special difficulty to Kayak all the way down Rio San Juan

3) Trip are convenient for adult, also  for Family meanwhile we will accept children only of minimum 10 years old with the parents

4) To bring with you

Rain gears,

Strong solar cream

Torch Lamp,

Good hat,

light Tropical clothes, long sleeves shirt,

Even if few bugs... Insect repellent,

One water proof bag

5) Option A,  

at end of Trip to return to Managua Directly with Airplane  there is a new Hydrofoil Charter than we can Hire...

6) Option B Usualy guide is also Kayaking with you. In order to make everything easier for The Lugages etc and for Safety I can add another Guide with a motor boat following the Groups..

We have  a Zodiac and also a larger cover boat

All the way Down Rio San Juan... 120 miles trip going through and around:  Isla del Pitasso, Medio queso, Sabalo, Rio Pocosol, El Castillo, Indio Mais Reserve, Infernillo, Bocana San Carlos, Bocana Sarapiqui, La Tigra, El Delta... San Juan de Nicaragua...

Day 1 Arriving

Arrival at Managua International Airport, we will be waiting for your Party... ( English Speaking guide )

Transfer to Granada for a night in Historical center of town

Transfer to San Carlos in Airplane with Costena Airline

Briefing at Lodge, Practice on Rio Frio and Refugio Los Guatuzos
