ANNUAL  INTERNATIONAL TARPON, SNOOK, LAGUNERO, MACHACA, RONCADOR FISHING  TOURNAMENT IS ALL OF A  TRADITION IN THE LITTLE BORDER TOWN  OF SAN CARLOS NICARAGUA / COSTA RICA LOCATED ON THE BANKS OF RIO SAN JUAN AND GREAT NICARGUA LAKE... PRECISELY WHERE  SAN JUAN RIVER START... 

More than a hundred angler...,  30  boats coming from Costa Rica, Managua, Granada, Rivas,   compete each year on the 14th and 15th of September 

Fishing  is  on the immensity of the great Nicaragua Lake, and down San Juan River till Saballo /El Castillo 40 miles away ...  a lot of room for everybody.... 

 

 

All town is involve...  

At 4.30 am  a band  goes in  SAN CARLOS streets..

Everybody has to get up.... 

Tournament  is also the occasion of annual festivity for the Town of San Carlos all town participate every body is up at 5 am... a band wakes up all town at 4,30 am
